KARACHI: Pakistan blind cricket team have registered its third consecutive win in the ongoing IBSA World Games and qualified for the final of the event by finishing first in the group stage in Birmingham on Wednesday.
In their third match, Men in Green faced Australia and came out victorious as they won by six wickets, thanks to a dominant performance both with the ball and bat.
Pakistan chased the target of 108 runs in the 15th over.
Mohsin Khan was the top-scorer for the winning side with 37 runs followed by Matiullah who scored 23 runs.
In the first inning, Australia were all-out after scoring 107 runs in 19.1 overs.
M.Cameroon was the top-scorer for his team with 41 runs.
Matiullah, Fakhar Abbas and Israr all took two wickets each for the winning side.
Pakistan will play England in their last game of the group stages.
The second and third placed teams will take on each other in an eliminator to qualify for the final.
Earlier in Pakistan's second game, the Green Shirts beat Bangladesh by seven wickets and continued their impressive form.
Bangladesh scored 137/6 runs while batting with Arif Hussain playing an important knock of 60 runs.
But the target was chased by Pakistan without any problems in the 12th over.
Pakistan's Riyasat Khan and Badar Muneer formed a 105-run partnership and guided their team to a stunning victory.
Riyasat contributed to the match-winning stand with 60 runs while Muneer remained not-out for 41 runs.
Meanwhile in the first game, Pakistan beat India by 18 runs and got off to a brilliant start.
The Men in Green scored 187/8 in 20 overs and were able to restrict the arch-rivals to just 169/7 in the allocated overs.
